A signup form is a collection of fields that allow users to enter information on a web page. These fields may be used for email address collection or any other type of information.
The main purpose of a signup form is to collect data from the user, but it could also be used for marketing purposes, such as collecting email addresses for newsletters and similar communications.
Types of Signup Forms
Signup forms can be either static or dynamic:
Static forms are simpler and require fewer coding skills to implement. They don't store any data, so the user has to fill out the form every time he visits your site (although this can be an advantage too).
Dynamic forms are more complex as they need to store values in a database or a file (HTML5 storage). They're usually generated by code on the server side but can also be created client-side with JavaScript frameworks like AngularJS or ReactJS.
